[Reflection after watching performance of "Pumba, YA!" by Bitsori | 전문예술법인 빛소리의 "품바, YA!" 공연 ]

2022년 8월 29일, 제주 브랭섬홀아시아 국제학교의 초청공연으로 한국장애인문화예술단체총연합전회 '빛소리친구들'이 성황리에 공연을 쳤다. 빛소리친구들은 장애에 대한 편견과 차별을 극복하고 예술적인 재능의 역량을 존중하며 발전시킬 수 있도록 도모하는 기관이다. 사단법인 빛소리친구들은 최영묵 대표를 통해 창단되었다. 그리고 해당 공연은 우광혁 예술감독의 세계 여러 나라의 대표 악기 연주를 시작으로 "품바, YA!"의 막이 열렸다.

그는 온전히 혼자 넓은 무대를 채우며 다음에 등장할 장애인무용수들을 맞이할 분위기를 만들었다. 박수를 받으며 떠나는 그의 모습을 뒤로하고 드디어 장애인 무용수들과 지도 무용수들이 같이 등장했다. 그들은 한국의 정서와 전통을 반영한 국악의 배경으로 무대를 즐겼다. 그들 중에는 지적장애인, 지체장애인, 청각장애인이 있었지만 누구보다 아름다운 무용수로서 예술의 가치를 드러내고 있었다. 환하게 웃으며 무대를 즐기는 그들의 미소는 관객의 심장을 따스하게 만들었으며 감동과 높은 호응을 자아냈다.

무대의 끝으로 다다를 때, 몇몇 선생님들과 학생들도 무대에 올라 같이 즐기는 모습을 볼 수 있었다. 그 모습은 마치 진정한 예술의 즐거움은 관객과 소통하며 즐기는 것이라고 말하고 있는 듯 하였다. 앞으로의 빛소리 친구들의 행보는 계속될 것이다. 물론 빛소리 친구들과 비슷한 단체들도 많을 것이다. 더 많은 사랑과 관심으로 그들의 햇살이 전파되면 좋겠다.

On August 29, 2022, "Bitsori Friends" performed successfully at the invitation performance in BranksomeHall Asia. "Bitsori friends" is the organization that overcomes prejudice and discrimination against disabilities and helps them respect and develop their artistic talent. "Bitsori Friend" was founded by CEO Choi Young-mook. The performance began with artistic director Woo Kwang-hyuk's "Music Lounge" performance of representative musical instruments from around the world, and the curtain of "Pumba, YA!" was opened.

He filled the stage by himself and created an atmosphere to welcome the following disabled dancers. After leaving with applause, disabled dancers and instructor dancers finally appeared together. They enjoyed the performance against the backdrop of Korean Traditional Music, Gug-Ak, which reflects Korean sentiment and tradition. Among them were intellectual disability, physical disability, and hard of hearing, representing the value of art as the most beautiful dancers. Their smiling faces, which enjoyed the stage with a bright smile under the spotlight, warmed the audience's hearts and caused a great sensation and excitement.

As they approached the end of the stage, the writer could see some teachers and students enjoying themselves together on stage. It seemed as if the stage was saying that art's real pleasure is communicating with the audience and enjoying it. "Bitsori Friends" will continue to dance. But, of course, there are many groups similar to "Bitsori Friends." It would be nice if their sunshine spread with more love and attention.
